Pantry With a Purpose
Many women and their families in our area struggle to meet their basic needs for reasons outside of their immediate control, such as job loss or fleeing a home quickly to escape domestic violence.
In response to this need, Women’s Resource Center maintains a free pantry stocked with personal hygiene and household cleaning items. These items cannot be purchased through government assistance benefits, such as SNAP or WIC, but are essential to safety and wellness of those in our community.
Standard Emergency Kits of these products are subject to eligibility, and not available more than once per year, per household. Please call the front desk to arrange your screening.
Feminine Hygiene Products (tampons/pads/liners) are available on a walk-in, as needed basis to any member of community. Please let the front desk know if you need these items.
Welcome Home Kits include additional items beyond those in a Standard Emergency Kit, that are essential for establishing a new-to-you home, such as towels, brooms, mops, trash bin, etc. These are supplemental items intended for women who are moving out of homelessness into stable housing. As such, they are available only with a referral form from a partner agency who can verify the families current housing situation.
Service Providers may contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a copy of the referral form.
