Sandra’s Safe Space

Connecting women to emergency housing

Sandra’s Safe Space offers immediate, bridge-gap shelter for women experiencing homelessness through hotel vouchers after a verification process. More than just a safe place to stay, this program acts as a bridge to stability, connecting women with vital community resources and supportive services to help them take the next step forward.

Restoring Dignity.  Rebuilding Lives

HOW IT WORKS:   Sandra’s Safe Space serves women over the age of eighteen, including those who do not have children, women unable to access local shelters due to a lack of available beds, and those who are transitioning into stable housing. The program also provides refuge for women leaving unsafe or unstable living conditions.

Applicants must provide proof of next steps with verified arrangements and a confirmed move-in date. Participants are required to complete an application and be accepted into the program. If accepted into the program, the participant signs a contract outlining program requirements. Weekly case management is provided until stability is reached.
