Donor Story of Engagement

We all share a civic responsibility to help our neighbors, to support our community. The very definition of civic responsibility includes contributing time (and money) to community causes and non-profits that help fill gaps in government services and strengthen the community.  WRC helps women get back on their feet when they have suffered a financial, mental or emotional set back. These women are our neighbors, and I want to help them. I am providing these neighbors with the best assistance when I support WRC. Supporting the WRC, is being a good neighbor, it is being a good citizen, and it is an investment in what works and what is needed in our community.

As a regular volunteer with the Women’s Resource Center, I have been moved by the stories of the hardships that our clients have endured.  The expressions of gratitude from those the Center has helped are both meaningful and impactful.  I am so proud to be a part of this organization that makes a profound difference in the lives of women.
